Build one interactive web page: Sampleton Tea Club turns a tea dunk into a tiny sport. Hold to dunk, watch the biscuit crack and release to rescue it. Leave it too long and you keep only a corner. The mug fills with your mistakes, the crumbs launch a lifeboat after a minute, and a sporting certificate records your actual attempt. Set it on an invented business called Sampleton, with its own drawn or generated pictures and no one else's files. It suits: A two-minute desk challenge, a playful interlude or a small competitive ritual worth passing to a colleague. Do not let it fail the way this kind of piece usually does: Random failure without a clue, holding controls that exclude people, or a score that invents precision. Three crack stages reveal weakening, press-once controls offer the same game, elapsed time drives the result and the readout publishes real state. Reduced motion removes wobble and the entire game needs neither WebGL nor audio. It must work with the keyboard, on a phone, with reduced motion respected and no text under 12px. Tell me which libraries you chose and why.
Notes: when it suits, when it does not, how it fails
- When it suits
- A two-minute desk challenge, a playful interlude or a small competitive ritual worth passing to a colleague.
- When it does not
- A real food safety test, a product selector or a visitor who needs practical information quickly.
- How it fails
- Random failure without a clue, holding controls that exclude people, or a score that invents precision. Three crack stages reveal weakening, press-once controls offer the same game, elapsed time drives the result and the readout publishes real state. Reduced motion removes wobble and the entire game needs neither WebGL nor audio.
