Remake it

Build one interactive web page: Scrolling turns the year round one log: autumn, winter, spring, summer and round again. The glass always looks one season ahead: in autumn it shows the frost and the robin to come, in winter the spring, in spring the lizard basking in July, in summer next autumn's hidden creatures. Each change spreads its own way, frost from the edges, spring from the ground, the canopy from above, leaves falling, with contour lines ahead of it, and a dial on the glass's rim shows the month.

Set it on an invented business called Sampleton, with its own drawn or generated pictures and no one else's files. It suits: A place whose year is the story: a nature reserve, a garden, a vineyard, a holiday let, an estate. One camera position, its seasons as registered pictures. Do not let it fail the way this kind of piece usually does: Scroll that locks or races ahead of the pictures. Here the year never runs past a change whose pictures have not decoded, the season buttons jump straight to one, and with reduced motion there is no pin at all, only the buttons.

It must work with the keyboard, on a phone, with reduced motion respected and no text under 12px. Tell me which libraries you chose and why.
Notes: when it suits, when it does not, how it fails
When it suits
A place whose year is the story: a nature reserve, a garden, a vineyard, a holiday let, an estate. One camera position, its seasons as registered pictures.
When it does not
Anything a visitor needs to reach quickly: the pinned scroll asks for the whole year before the page moves on, so it belongs where the year is the point.
How it fails
Scroll that locks or races ahead of the pictures. Here the year never runs past a change whose pictures have not decoded, the season buttons jump straight to one, and with reduced motion there is no pin at all, only the buttons.
