Sampleton Pocket Park · A minute of company

You can
sit here.

Little creatures. Quite shy.
Try being still and see who comes over.

Nothing to win. Nobody to impress.

That little one has something for you. Give it a moment.

Your place is still. Let them find you. Company time only counts while a creature is close and you are still.

Build one interactive web page: Sampleton Pocket Park is a minute of company. Move quickly and its little creatures scatter. Be still and they approach at their own pace, one carrying a flower. A minute of shared stillness earns a tiny welcome, and an SVG postcard keeps the actual gathering you made.

Set it on an invented business called Sampleton, with its own drawn or generated pictures and no one else's files. It suits: A small playful pause, a community space or a quiet digital keepsake about patience and belonging. Do not let it fail the way this kind of piece usually does: A scripted welcome that ignores the visitor, or a waiting game with no accessible controls. Individual courage, measured movement and proximity shape this gathering. Keyboard controls move your place, reduced motion uses still frames, and the SVG scene needs neither WebGL nor audio.

It must work with the keyboard, on a phone, with reduced motion respected and no text under 12px. Tell me which libraries you chose and why.
Notes: when it suits, when it does not, how it fails
When it suits
A small playful pause, a community space or a quiet digital keepsake about patience and belonging.
When it does not
Urgent information, competitive scoring or any claim to model real animal behaviour.
How it fails
A scripted welcome that ignores the visitor, or a waiting game with no accessible controls. Individual courage, measured movement and proximity shape this gathering. Keyboard controls move your place, reduced motion uses still frames, and the SVG scene needs neither WebGL nor audio.

Made by Codex from Pete's brief: an invented Sampleton place built as a personal experience, with procedural creatures, a small surprise and a postcard rather than a form.
